The whiplash is the only sensible vehicle choice for completing this quest. It's a sports car so will give you a fast acceleration and a decent top speed. Stay on the roads as this vehicle will not be able to perform off road.

There is usually a whiplash that spawns at Sweaty Sands over by the gas station. The road through Sweaty Sands is also nice and straight allowing you to get to a higher top speed. If you are having trouble modifying the vehicle with some of the Chonkers off-road tires can help as they can improve handling.
