In season 6 weapon upgrades are sold by certain NPCs for gold. Who knew the NPCs of the island were in business for themselves?!

The locations of where you can find upgrade selling NPCs is as follows.

Jonesy the first is located in a house on the north west side of Pleasant Park.

Bandolette is located in flushed factory that is on the south west side of the map.

Dummy is located in a mechanic building west of dirty docks.

The reaper is located in a mansion on the west side on the island, just west of Sweaty Sands.

Remedy is located at Craggy Cliffs.

Jules is located at Camp Cod.

Sparkplug is located in the gas station at the base of Mount Kay.
