This quest requires you to place top 10 in games. This isn't too difficult but here are some tips to help you survive and get you into the top 10.

Firstly get the game off to a good start by avoiding the most popular landing spots. It is very frustrating when other players are lucky enough to find a weapon before you and you are not prepared to defend yourself. I'd recommend not landing at named locations and also going out further a field. This will give you time to get some weapons and items before you need to fight other players.

When you land you should be looking for the best gear. The rarer the item the more powerful it is. Common, uncommon and rare items will not be so useful to you in the later stages of the game as your opponents will likely have rarer weapons.

Season 6 introduced the crafting mechanic and I'd recommend you use it. The option of upgrading a rare makeshift shotgun into an epic pump action shotgun is an option you should take. There are also NPCs that offer weapon upgrades in exchange for some gold bars.

Pick your moments. It is very tempting to see a build battle going on in the distance and instinctively want to get involved. If you are not in a good position to engage try and slip past unnoticed.

Sound is something that can help you and hurt you. You will be able to hear the footsteps of enemy players as they approach and also if they are driving past in a vehicle. If you turn on visual sound effects in the settings you will also be able to see what direction the sounds are coming from. Keep in mind that other players can also hear you.

Stealth can be used as an advantage over other players. If you crouch you will make less noise and can sneak up and surprise other players. You can also use stealth to slip past players if you are not in a position to engage.
